How to merge TEMS log files

    Hi all,

    Can any one tell me how to merge tems log files.

    Hi
    Keep all the logs in a folder.
    Open the command prompt for that folder.

    Enter the following command
    type *.log > all.log

    All the log files will be merged into a single log file “all.log”

    i have type the command ( *.log>all.log)
    But it is giving error ” *.log is not recognized as internal or external command”
    Your further support will be highly appreciated.

    type following command:
    (type *.log > all.log) without parentheses

    type space *.log space >space all.log

    I merged some log files this way, but when i open the final log file(all.log) in tems it shows in the map only the first log file. How can i see all the log file in the map?

    Hi I have tried and created all.log file. But when I play it on TEMS, only 1st log file is opening

    Dear RF Engr.

    you can merge them using RA. and u can analyze them as u want.
    and if u want u can merge them by exporting them to MapInfo.
    and also u can analyze them using MapInfo.

    when i tried this syntax re merge the created log file again.
    try this
    type *.log>all.txt
    than change the extension .txt to .log.
    it will work.

    Will you please confirm your TEMS version. I think after TEMS V3, ‘Mere Log File’ option availble within TEMS. Please check Menu Bar and go to Logfile->Export Logfile (A window wil Pop-up and you can add all logfiles in it for merger-Check Box ‘Merge OutPut’)
