what is UL/DL path imbalance from the RF point of view?
How can it be reduced?Path balance is the difference between the path loss in UL and DL. Ideally the cell sites are planned to keep it to 0. its planned keeping in mind the RF Losses of connectors, combiners, cables etc.

Besides checking H/w alos check if the antenna is having Uptilt..??
it may also result in PI cases.
In some cases you have to install TMA to solve path imbalance
I have the same problem, how can I fix it?
Path balance is only due to harware issue b/w trx to antenna.
VSWR or any loose connection is main reason for this.For rectification pls check VSWR,TRX test and end to end connectivity b/w trx to antenna port.How to solve the path imbalance

to rectfy it,check the connecting point of diffrnt hardware.also go through the rssi value to perform more rectfcation
