HO in gprs and Egprs

    hi all.
    i have some doubts about a few item that i write tem in a few posts.
    1.in NOKIA BSC3i we have one parameter named:adjacent GPRS enabled (AGENA)
    With this parameter you define whether the GPRS capability is enabled or disabled in the adjacent cell. In the adjacent cell creation if this parameter is not given and the SEG and the adjacent cell are in the same BSS, the value of this parameter is copied from the SEG.

    my doubt is:
    if seg1 and seg2 be adjacent and in this relation this parameter set to NO ,whether MS in gprs attached mode from seg1(serving)dosent handover to seg2? and as a result his sesion become suspend?
    generaly what is the process of handover in gprs and Egprs?

    First of all,in GPRS it is not Handover,it is Cell reselection.

    The purpose of AGENA is to consider that the adjacent cell’s BCCH for measurements & cell reselection.

    thanks Bijoy for your reply.
    you mean if in one relation AGENA set to N(AGENA=N) measurements for this particular BCCH doesnt done and as a result that cell doesnt reselect ???

    i know that you are expert in NOKIA BSC3i!!!
    i dont have any document exept NED about BSC.
    please send me some usefull document about nokia BSC 3i and NOKIA BSC 3i 2000TRX and TCSM3i .
