Dear all,
do you know where can I find description of Classmark Change message sent by MS to the network?
17th December 2009 at 16:16 #60338PawelGuestps. more detailed description than is TS 44.018
18th December 2009 at 06:39 #60339BijoyGuestPawel
You can refer Drive test logs for message detailsBr\\
Bijoy18th December 2009 at 08:17 #60340PawelGuestThere are just names of parameters with their values. There is no explanation in tools collecting logs which I am using.

please let me know where I can find description of below parameters.

Pawel18th July 2011 at 06:39 #60345N.SelvakumarGuestHi,..
Can anyone tell in which practical scenario classmark change comes under the picture.
I know what is the use of classmark. But why classmark change procedure required while location update or CM procedure is ongoing.
Regards
selva n18th July 2011 at 07:53 #60346pixGuesthi,
The MS sends this message to the network, to list all its capabilities. The network is then aware of what the MS can or cannot do.

pix18th July 2011 at 11:00 #60347Selvakumar NGuestHi Mr.PIX,
I know what is classmark. But sometimes classmark change is come under the picture, when at all MS change its capabilities (like Band info, addition of power amplification). How come it changes band info and add the power amplification. That is what i thought to ask. Can you any practical scenario, why it is doing addition of power amplification
Regards,
Selva N18th July 2011 at 11:04 #60348N.SelvakumarGuestWhen at all it needs to change the classmark. Why it needs to change Band info and addition of power amplification
20th July 2011 at 08:36 #60349PixGuestHi,
I don’t know. It’s part of the standard procedure, you’d have to check 3GPP on that one…
1st October 2015 at 10:30 #60350ankit.singhal85@yahoo.comGuestwhere you seen this parameters?
As i am using the TEMS release 5,
the information of repeated SACCH(ACCH capability) is not indicated there.
So, can u suggest the tool, where i see these parameters.15th July 2022 at 08:01 #102105SidBGuestI understand that to prevent attacks on A5/3, networks have started rejecting classmark change requests (sent from a fake MS) to A5/1. Would like to understand if this is true (at least on some parts of the world) and whether this is a directive to be fulfilled by all operators by a specific date.
