Need for types of bearer setup in MSS

    Dear All,
    In mobile softswitch, the bearer setup has types of directions like forward bearer setup and backward bearer setup. What is the actual need for types of bearer setup.

    Depending upon th detsination the bearer setup can be Forward or Backward.

    Backward Bearer Setup is to help the network to find a optimum drop point for calls to external network.

    FWD is same old thing.But mostly used for things which dont need Optimum routing option.Straight forward approach.
