what is missed call alert?
When a call is unable to reach the subscriber at one point of time then the call info is stored in one server which is played again when the subscriber is in reach of the network

Yes, it is also called missed call notification, It will notifiy you all the missed calls who were unable to reach you. This info is mostly delivered in an SMS format.
