    I need the SS7 message format of the A interface between the BSC & the MSC in a GSM system, i.e. MTP, SCCP, and BSSAP.

    Look at 3gpp.org.

    Specification below looks at Layer 3.

    Look at the following “message units” for SS7:-

    -Message Signal Unit (MSU)

    -Link Status Signal Unit (LSSU)

    -Fill-in Signal Unit (FISU)

    You will also need to obtain the relevant SS7 specification for interface that is under investigation.
