    can any body told me How we can improve Paging Successful rate per BSC, parameters that effect.

    the parameter that affect the performance of Paging success rate are:
    1\number of block for AGCH(BS_AG_BLKS_RES)
    2\multiFrame(BS-PA-MFRAMS).
    3\IMSI detach/ATTCH
    4\RACH min level.
    5\MAX retansmision
    and the most ipmortant is the number OF TRX per LAC

    Timer reserved for TMSI-req release at MSC must be compatible with (BS-PA-MFRAMS).

    BS-PA-MFRAMS may need reducement cuz it doesnt affect the paging load.

    further more you can avoid 2th page by IMSI, or change the 2 page attempt by TMSI.(for all n/w).

    For BSC try to optimize LA, by giving attention to SDCCH load (LU).

    we are using CDMA 2000 1xRTT. in our system we are facing big problems. Most of the times shows paging fails. can some one tells me why paging fails? and how to solve or reduce this problems?

    For Ericsson check parameter “pagrep1la” . You can set 2nd page as Global and also increase paging timers to 6 sec.

    Huawei is doing UL paging, so that the MS can page its network, to check that the Huawei BTS is still working properly…

    By incresing the pagereply 1 time to 6 sec will improve the paging sucess rate?
