Could anyone tell me what BCCH missing alarm mean.Is it due to Transmission failure alone
patrickGuest
IF you have BCCH missing, your TRX is OFF.
many reason:
Transmission PCM: You have BCCH missing on all TRX with PCM failure.
TRX is out: bcch missing + lap D failure
Ross feeder is bad: bcch missing + tx antenna performance degraded
Bad TRUA: your trame is not good, check routing Time slot. (only after operation)
After a reset site, you have Bcch missing during a short moment.

Ross feeder is bad: bcch missing + tx antenna performance degraded

HOW? strange question?!
If you have alarm => you have a problem so you must resolve it.
=> Change TRX, Copler, ODU, cable, … It is curative maintenance.
Alarm give an indication to find your failure.

But i have another question.
which are thus the problems that the BCCH missing can generate?

Hello,
I think you should do your homeworks by yourself…
Cheers,
