trx faults in nokia bts

    hi everybody
    the alarm “trx is stuck in waiting for system information” keeps on repeating , after giving restart to the trx it cancels but comes again in the same bcf trx. can any body suggest a permanent solution?

    change your TRX, it is out of order.

    Normally it must be in BL-RSL or BL-TRX.

    You can make lock/unlocked BCF (ZEFS)
    If alarm is always here, change it.

    thanx i suppose thats the last thing we can do. i just wanted to know the reason for this alarm.
    i would also like to discuss one more thing.
    in my network the ultrasite (indoor nad outdoor sites ) get hang ie the pcm is ok omu and all trx go in BL-RSL . after giving a hard reset(switching off and on of the PCU) to the site it comes up. there is no errror in the PCM (ZYMO).
    Kindly suggest a reason and a solution.

    when you have a TRX-RSL, check LAPD

    ZDTI::::UA;

    or

    ZDTI::::BL;

    if you have LAPD D in UAD-RNrecove, you must do lock/unlocked:

    ZDTC

    We have the same problem, i think it is a bug of NOKIA system.

    When you lost your link, a long time or a little time, after BCF become WO and TRX BL-RSL.

    i have observed that this alarm trx is stuck in …
    comes when there is a switch over in BCSU. the trx associated to the bcsu are stuck ie in BL-TRX.
