Hi ! I am working as engr in India and facing problem in blocking the SCCP traffic which met following criteria :
– A perticular SCCP CLG Add ( e164 )
– From a perticular OPC
Need to allow the same SCCP Clg from other OPCs.
As per Vendor this cannot be done as the SCCP Addressig schecme in India ( Asia ) is ITU and it does not make it mandatory for operators to put OPC in SCCP Addr. And hence we have all the SCCP Address as : RI = GT, PCI = not defined, SCCP Cld = e164 address, NP = e164, TT =0, SSN = HLR/VLR/MSC etc.
Check if you have a SCCP Policing Mask activated. If not ask your Vendor (e.g. STP) if they have this Feature. Next check if you have configured your GTRC tables. Your tables will need to be setup so that the SCCP information can be analysed.
