Nortel S8000 and S12000

    Hallo, what are the differences ? Is possible to use Nortel radio from S8000 (NTQA01) in S12000?

    I’m not sure to 100% but I intended to say that it is the same.

    The really difference is with BTS S18000.

    S18000 => GSM, DCS, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS

    S12000 => no UMTS

    Hi all,
    one of our BSS team installed a new BSC, i face this peculiar problem

    1. once a hard reset is given to the BSC, the BSC comes to service normally but i can’t make 2 calls simultaneously, only a single call is successfully established, if a second call made the call is put throu i get a single ring back tone and then the call gets released. this happens in all the BTS connected to that BSC

    2. when CTP is used i get Call release message insted of connect acknowledge

    Hi Vimal,

    I experience it same in our network in Huawei. Right now we still don’t find any alternated solution. Sir Vimal can you give some tips about how you resolved this problem.
