E1 link testing

    any one knows what are the testing to be done on E1 links ?
    like retrun loss ,e1 mask etc.
    any detail on this how to test ?

    Are you interested in link or interface tests.
    I would refer to ITU-T G.703 for most interface related topics and for instance ITU-T G.823 for JITTER/Wander related topics.

    There are more as well, but not on top of my head. Round trip delay, residual BER..etc.
