I am experienced in loading AXE packages via OSS. It is done using two modules of OSS called OPS and SMO. SMO usually does the dowloading of the software and OPS is a scripting language that performs the function change. OPS language is based on PC-Ozterm and is pretty basic but it gives you the ability to include unix commands in the script.
