Hi,
Does anyone have an idea as to how prepaid roaming is handled?
What I mean is that a prepaid subscriber who is roaming is charged for incmoing calls.
As I understand it, for originating calls in an IN env the O-BCSM gets involved with the prepaid platform to authorize and monitor the call.
In the case of prepaid roaming does the T-BCSM play a part and interacts with prepaid system to charge the called parties account and drop the call when his/her credit reaches 0.
Would really appreciate your thoughts.

7th June 2004 at 06:12 #38429PrepaidGuestHi,
Can anyone give the 3GPP spec that stipulates the guidlines for prepaid service and prepaid roaming service?
I am also looking for the spec for the CAMEL call models specifically O-BSCM and T-BSCM details.

CAMEL / IN (Intelligent Network) is based on a Finite State Machine (FSM) model. The specifications define core Functional Entities: (gsm)SSF, (gsm)SCF, SDF, (gsm)SRF, IP, etc.. that are used in the Network.
