VLR capacity in Siemens D900

    Hi all/
    i have some question need ur help :
    – how to see VLR capacity in Siemens D900 switch
    – the relation betwween VLR capacity with CP load, traffic, trunk, c7 … in case i want to increase (expand)VLR ‘ capacity

    hi hoangktnv

    u can get vlr capacity in ur report which is genrated form switch.we are calling it msc template.as ur vlr capacity will increase ur cp load may increase and traffic will also increas.
    to expand u have to must do software upgradation which can be done by patching load which will be provided by siemens person.
    if still doubt the ask without hesitation

    i mean how to know the maximum vlr capacity ( maybe via command in MSC).
    plz show me which commmand and which parameter to know maximum VLR capacity tin Siemens switch

    Hi!

    Using DISPDBSIZE command you can see all ODAGEN element and their percentage of use. VSD parametar points to VLR memory size.

    In AXE you have to check a block Size which is responsible for holding dynamic subscriber data.

    The corresponding block is MTV.

    SAEEP:SAE=36;

    There it will Show the Maximum/100 & Current/100

    thanks Erox for your kind,
    i found in my ODAGEN with VSD=2000, its mean is 2000 X 100 = 200.000 subs max in VLR ? OK?

    and i still dont know the meaning of another group besides VSD parametter (for ex., group ABB, ACB ….) althought i have found all D900 document.

    Meaning of other groups in ODAGEN you can ask only from Siemens personal who is responsible for it. Unfortunatelly, I don’t have any information about other ODAGEN groups.
    That for VSD group is right!

    in ericsson AXE, u can try MTVRP command. It will show all users y VLR. But it takes long time (hours) to show the printout.

    I never seen such a command MTVRP in AXE For the last 6 Yrs ?
