find total E1’s on basis of erlang

    hi,
    i need to calculate total E1’s requried for transfer of a specific erlang amount of traffic., how do i do it. from erlang i guess first the total numbr of traffic channels will have to be calculated, and then a equivalent amount of E1’s calculated.

    You should use the ERlang B calculator

    So you should select the GOS, you can use 1%

    thanx Jose, but the problem is that i am making a software and i have to implement the formula erlang b formula, i have the total erlang traffic and the GoS, kindly someone tell me how to i put the values into the formula

    I will to Know how to calculate the among of erlang and E1 necessary if a have a traffic of 2,000,000 min per month.

    Hi Usman,

    I have also made a software for calculating Erlang B by VB. If you are using VB, I can send you the code of ErlangB fomula.
