    What will be the advantage and disadvantage of decreasing the GoS for an E1 for example from 1% to 0.1%?? How will the cost be affected, and what other factors will be affected and will have to be taken into consideration?

    As you can see, when you reduce de GOS you have less traffic capacity per E1.

    In other words you are redicing the lost call, but reudcinf the traffic capabilities of the E1.
