    I am aware that the quintum released its new release of firmware. The only thing on my mind is that is these works stable and more realiable than the previous release. Is there any bug on this firmware.

    Please of you have some comments just post it!!!thanks

    I have two Quintum DX gateways. I upgraded one of them from P101-14-00 to P102-11-00 on Friday.

    No problems so far. I noticed some instability (socket errors etc.) in the previous version, but so far, the alarm log is clean with the new version. I will leave it a week or so before making a final judgement and upgraded the second gateway.

    Two new features (which are long overdue) are secondary clocking source and T.38 with fallback to G.711 for fax (which works).

    Thank you very much for the info. I will wait for your judgement for 1 week. I have also 2 dx gateways and axt’s thats why i need some inputs if i will use the new firmware. thanks buddy!!!

    To be honest, the P102 firmware is still not stable.
    I found a couple (so far 3) “bugs” or unclear issues in the Quintum firmware, all related to the routing part. Discussing them with the QTAC.

    Michael,

    the firmware behaves in a stable manier = does not crash. But that is notthe matter.
    I am really tired of Quintum’s *perverted* routing logic =)
