I’m sure this is probably a jive-ass question but, I have not been able to find any information covering this.
Can I use VoIP for in-bound call routing and internal communications only? I do not want calls routed over the internet. All in-bound and out-bound call would be through regular analog phone lines (4 POTS lines). What equipment is required for this type of setup? In a nutshell, how do you interface the VoIP network with multiple regular analog phone lines. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
you can buy some FXO cards and then you get voicemail, hunt groups and a bunch of features. good luck doing the programming though if you do not know what you are doing.. check out http://www.asterisk.org or drop me an email: gary@lookieloo.net
I know a few guys who might be able to help you in programming
