I am having one way transmision problem trying to send calls from ATA 186 setting behind a NAT provided by the ISP to a Cisco AS5350 Gateway.
I would apprciate any help in this regard. Are there certain setups we need to do, ports to request the ISP to open. certain configs for the ATA. use Sip instead of H323 and what is needed to this..etc.
When we make a test using public IP address not behin NAT..it works fine.
Is your problem a one way audio path problem?
🙂
If so you may need to see if your NAT provider is using PNP or NAT transversal otherwise this is not doable, if I where you I use a little Linksys router that comes with NAT and PNP to do this. CHECK YOUR ROUTER.
