Static IP

    I am setting up an A800 for termination and will be using ADSL 512/128 kbps. However the isp is giving a dynamic instead of static ip. How do i obtain a static one?

    Most ISP ‘s will give you a static I.P., but it will not be for free.

    Expect to pay at least double of what the normal rate is for the same service with a static I.P.

    It could be that your best bet will be change providers, to another ADSL provider.

    Hi noname,

    There is only one ADSL provider here and they only issue dynamic ip’s. Is there any other possibility to obtain a static one?
