Giving me lot’s of trouble. A friend of mine has one that works great with his Direcway 4020 platform. His ATA was provided by someone else & I can’t get into it to see it’s configuration.
The problem we are having is that our ATA won’t register with our VOIP service providers server.
Could our gateway be blocking access to the media port or is there a certain port used in Direcway systems?
I know the ATA 186 works with Direcway systems because I have seen one with my very own eyes, problem is ours isn’t working.
Any suggestions are greatly apprciated. Thanks.
I would sure like to see your friend’s ATA! Because I have never got one to work. He should call his provider and ask them or at least demand the password to look at the configuration! Who is the provider? If its Vonage its probably not accessible.
