Does anybody have a source (or know first-hand) for the percentage of carrier-network VoIP traffic that uses the various codecs?
Is the “real-world” still mostly G.711, has G.729 caught-up, or is it moving to high-quality broadband codecs? Does anybody have a graph of codec popularity-versus-year or any such market-space info?
