Gateway is booting when making call

    Hello,

    I have got a big problem.
    My Gateway (Cisco 2600) IOS version 12.2(5a) makes problems if I will make calls.
    When I am calling from my Ip telephone to an external number then the router breaks down and starts booting. That isn´t normal, is it?
    Is that a hardware problem?

    I tend to agree with you, it’s likely a bad load, or software image. Try upgrading, and if that doesn’t fix the problem then have a look at the hardware.

    Ok I will upgrade my image, but can you suggest me a good one?
    There are so many IOS versions
    12.5(6)
    12.5(7)
    12.5(5) … ?
