Any thoughts on Vonage (http://www.vonage.com/)? They provide SIP based VoIP telephone service using regular telephones with a broadband connection.

I began using them last month when the Boston area codes rolled out. The call quality is pretty nice, with virtually no echo, super fast install and…the price is right.
