It’s pretty obvious that the most commonly offered CODEC for compression in VoIP is G.729 (a & b).
Any ideas why there does not seem to be a push for G.729 Annex E ???
It is supposedly a superior Codec to G.729B . It ellimanates the clipping that is associated with VAD (Silence Suppression) on Annex B.
Anyone?!?
