Emergency Call Center Layout / Design

    Hi

    We are embarking on a total re-design of our emergency dispatch centre. I have decided to look outside our industry for ideas on process flow and physical layout for our centre. I am hoping some of you can help.

    We perform call-taking and dispatch for about 15,000 emergency calls per month. We dispatch about 100 vehicles and service about 3 million people.

    Any feedback on process flow or physical layout from any of you would be appriciated. If you know of any good web sites or other resources please let me know!
